DJ Monitors

Mixing through a regular speaker is possible, but it's not ideal. DJ monitors are specifically designed to reproduce sound honestly and precisely. No exaggerated bass or shrill highs, but a balanced sound that lets you hear exactly what you're doing. This allows you to react faster, beatmatch better, and seamlessly transition your tracks.

With the right DJ monitors, you know that what you hear while playing or producing is what the audience will experience through the large speakers. It prevents surprises and gives you confidence behind the decks.

What to look for when choosing DJ monitors

Not every DJ or producer has the same setup or space. Therefore, pay attention to a few important points:

• Size: small monitors are ideal for home use. Larger models easily fill a studio or practice room.
• Power: more watts means more volume and more punch, but also tighter sound at higher volumes.
• Frequency range: the wider, the better you hear all the details. From deep sub-bass to crystal-clear highs.
• Placement: place your monitors at ear level and at the correct distance for a perfect stereo image.

For every level and every style

Whether you're just starting to DJ or have been behind the decks for years, good DJ monitors make a difference. Beginners often find a compact model that sounds reliable and doesn't take up too much space to be sufficient. Experienced DJs often opt for a set with more power and even more precision. Whatever your experience, the right pair of monitors will make your sets more consistent and professional.

At DJ Supply, you'll only find top-quality monitors, including models from Pioneer DJ, renowned worldwide for their tight and clear sound. These speakers are sturdily built, last for years, and maintain pristine sound even at high volumes.

How to complete your setup

DJ monitors are just one part of your setup. Combine them with a stable DJ controller, a DJ mixer, and good DJ headphones for maximum control. Want even better sound? Then look into studio accessories like monitor stands and acoustic panels to make your sound even tighter.
